Anna Wintour is fascinating–so fascinating that she is on Barbara Walters‘ list of the 10 most fascinating people of 2006. I agree with Walters–I think that the editor-in-chief of Vogue totally deserves it! Walters’ interview with Wintour will be shown on Tuesday, December 12th at 10:00pm on ABC.

Other people on the list are Joel Osteen, Patrick Dempsey, Andre Agassi, John Ramsey, and Terri Irwin. The number one most fascinating person hasn’t been revealed yet–you won’t find out until the program airs!

Last Wednesday night, Teen Vogue hosted an intimate party at the Gramercy Park Hotel celebrating the upcoming appearance Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen in the December/January issue. For the first time, a split cover will be featured in the magazine, as well as the twins appearing on two separate covers at the same time! Amy Astley, Patrick Demarchelier, Anna Wintour, Julie Gilhart, Phillip Lim, Thakoon Panichgul, Vena Cava designers Lisa Mayock and Sophie Buhai, Rodnik designers Rich Ascott and Philip Colbert, made appearances at the party, as well as Mary Kate’s boyfriend, Max Snow. I’d also like to add that I am very glad that for once, Mary Kate is not dressed in a potato sack. But anyway, be sure to look out for the Olsen twins on Teen Vogue!

Last night, Ralph Lauren celebrates with his wife, Ricky, and her new book, Ricky Lauren: Cuisine, Lifestyle, and Legend of the Double RL Ranch They gathered with their family and friends at a cocktail party at the Rhinelander Mansion. Not long after it started, the store was filled with a line waiting for Ricky to do book signings. Dylan, David, and Andrew Lauren greeted the guests as they arrived such as Anna Wintour, Lauren Bush, Ron Perelman, Charlie Rose, Damon Dash and Rachel Roy, André Leon Talley, Steven Kolb, Cindy Adams, Michael Gould, Marvin Traub, Pamela Fiori, Glenda Bailey, Ingrid Sischy, Steve Schwarzman, Stan Herman, Diane Keaton, and Bruce Weber. Last night, the two year anniversary of Marchesa was celebrated at Bergdorf Goodman’s BG restaurant in New York, NY. The event was hosted by Sienna Miller, Rachel Zoe, and Lauren Davis.

“I’m not one to ever celebrate my birthday, but this is the birthday of Marchesa,” Georgina Chapman noted demurely as she cozied up to Miller, who paired her short cocktail dress with $400,000 Cartier platinum, diamond, and emerald cabochon drop earrings. “It’s a bit like playing dress up, like Cinderella,” the actress observed. “The jewels have to go back, but maybe, if I’m lucky, I’ll get to keep the dress.”(Source)

As well as Chapman, a numerous amount of other icons are recognizing the second birthday of this elegant eveningwear collection. Many of them, such as Keren Craig, Nina Garcia, Olivia Chantecaille, Anna Wintour, Tinsley Mortimer, Ron and Samantha Perelman, Fabiola Beracasa, and Padma Lakshmi, attended the celebration wearing their best Marchesa as well as many other designers.
