Today marks the day that Roland Mouret launched his new collection of ten dresses that will be available in select Gap locations. Some of these dresses include a shirt dress with a draw-string waist, a scoop neck tunic dress, a simple jersey smock dress, and a shift dress with pleated short sleeves. The dresses are all in either red, grey, navy, or black. They will hit the stores next Tuesday, going from £45 to £78 at all Gap locations in the UK and France, and exclusively in New York. Three of the dresses will be sold as part of Gap (Product) RED, which means that 50% of their profits will go to The Global Funds for Aids, HIV, and malaria. According to Daily Mail,
Mouret said: “I was interested in the opportunity to make my designs available to a broader audience and was particularly excited about the RED involvement. Gap has given me the opportunity to be able to translate my ideas in a more casual sensibility and help raise funds that will target the Aids pandemic.”
It’s great that part of this collection is going towards a good cause. Gap (Product) RED has been a huge success this year, so these dresses are totally going to be a hit this season!
