A great alternative to foundation for the summer is tinted moisturizer. It is lightweight, extremely easy to apply, and looks natural yet flawless! It is also easy to find a tinted moisturizer to match your skin tone, since the selection is not as wide as foundation shades. The shades are very basic, so you will be sure to find one that looks great on you!
A fantastic one to try is Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer. It goes on sheer, but still gives a hint of color that is enough to give you a healthy glow! It comes in 7 shades: Porcelain (for very fair skin), Nude (light beige/for fair to light skin tones), Sand (for light to medium skin tones), Fawn (for medium skin with pink tones), Almond (rich brown/for medium skin tones), Tan (medium to dark skin tones), and Walnut (for rich, deep skin tones). It has SPF 20, and enough moisture to keep your skin smooth and soft!

I’ve just started using it and love it. But don’t be fooled by the “oil free” version of this. It is quite different and will not leave your skin silky smooth like this one.
