When you have so many color options, choosing an eye shadow can be a very long process! It’s difficult to tell what color eye shadow will look best with each outfit. This is where the color wheel comes in.
You remember the color wheel, right? Certain colors compliment each other–red and green are compliments, blue and orange are compliments, and yellow and violet are compliments. So if you’re wearing a green shirt, a pink shadow (shade of red) will look super cute! Cool, right?
You can make other substitutions of primary and secondary as well. If you’re wearing a purple top, instead of wearing yellow shadow, you can try a gold or bronze! A yellow shirt would also look gorgeous with a soft lilac shadow! There are so many shades color, so be creative! Mix and match, and have fun!
